Andrew Pearman
Master Mariner

Completed deck officer apprenticeship with Ocean Fleets (Blue Funnel) out of Liverpool UK in 1982. Worked as Navigational Officer out of Hong Kong for Jardine Matheson until leaving deep sea 1985. Followed by a career change to the offshore industry working for a number of construction and diving companies on DP vessels and latterly anchored MODU’s. Finally settling back with drilling permanently from 93, as Barge Master on MODU’s, then transferring to DP units and finally Ultra Deepwater DP drilling serving as  Master & OIM on both anchored and DP units.  

Moving into consultancy in 2003 with a major international consultancy company, later becoming independent followed by starting DMC Offshore Pte Ltd in 2007.

 

Mats Rosengren
Master Mariner

Holding a Class 1 FG Master’s certificate, previously OIM on a number of DP drilling units has been involved in corporate development, yard projects and particularly marine DP drilling operations for various clients. Also has extensive experience of project planning, yard phases and FPSO conversions. Mats is also the managing director of Petrodin Offshore, operating in USA and S. America, in particularly Brasil

 

Clell Smith (Ch. Eng)
Chief Engineer 

Served engineering apprenticeship with CP ships UK, after serving deep sea took shore based positions as Quality engineer in electronics industry, later returning to sea working in the North Sea for 10yrs on DP class 2  support and construction vessels, including monohull and semi submersible. Moved into drilling industry and worked offshore on Various DP drill ships and FPSO. Attended yard project work for upgrades of DP2 and DP 3 drill ships in Korea and Singapore. Worldwide offshore operations as Chief Engineer, holding Class 1 Certificate of Competency. Finally holding position as engineering superintendent before entering consultancy.  

 

Aarif Qadari
Subs Sea Engineer

Holding of a degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical), worked offshore for Transocean, Global Santa Fe & Neptune Drilling as Subsea Engineer & Team Leader-subsea on DP vessel upgrading project handling repairs-refurbishments, cost control & procurement departments for subsea & well control department. Experienced offshore subsea supervisor as well as BOP and subsea equipment surveyor and has performed surveys on well-control equipments on offshore rigs & in the yards.

Piotr Celarek 

Piotr Celarek graduated from Technical University of Gdansk (Poland), Ocean Engineering and Shipbuilding Technology Institute as a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture.

He has been actively involved in the engineering and building of ships for the last 10 years with key contacts with ship owners, major class societies and suppliers. He has worked as a ship owner representative as well as a classification society surveyor for Det Norske Veritas (DNV).

He has worked on projects ranging from merchant ships to offshore vessels. These include new buildings, conversions, modifications, collision repairs, inspections for the purchase of second hand vessels, inspection on behalf of flag authority, etc.
